We tried that new place in Evanston last week. Solid food, great atmosphere, and the prices are actually reasonable. Not every new restaurant in Calgary has to charge $30 for a main.

Hot take: Calgary's food scene is actually better than Vancouver's now. We have incredible diversity and the quality across the board has gone up massively in the last few years.

First time buyers - my biggest advice is don't skip the home inspection.
For anyone looking at new builds - visit the site at different times and weather. Some areas flood in spring, some have awful drainage. Ask the neighbors, they'll tell you everything the builder won't.

Hot take: the Flames prospect pipeline is actually looking really strong right now. Give it 2-3 years and this team is going to be a serious contender.

Flames need to shore up their defensive depth before the deadline.
Sports-wise, i've been a Flames fan since the 04 run and honestly this season has moments that remind me of that magic. Just need consistency.

Good luck!

Ngl, totally agree with this. I've been in Calgary for 3 years now and Coral Springs is honestly one of the best kept secrets in the city. The community feel there is something else.

Good luck!
