Go Flames Go! i love that Calgary's nightlife isn't just 17th Ave anymore. Inglewood, Kensington, and even the East Village all have great options now.

Hope that helps.

The gaming community in Calgary is bigger than you'd think. There are regular LAN events and gaming cafes. Also some great shops for PC building components.

Cheers!

On a related note with the Flames, we moved from Cliff Bungalow to Varsity last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

This is so helpful! Stampede is just around the corner and I'm already excited. Say what you will about it, but there's nothing quite like Calgary in July. The whole city transforms.

Good luck!

Board game cafes like Hexagon Board Game Cafe are perfect for a chill evening. Way more fun than you'd expect. Great for groups.

Speaking from experience, new arena talk keeps going back and forth. I love the Dome for nostalgia but we genuinely need a modern facility. Hoping it actually happens this time.

Loving Calgary so far! For a rainy day activity, TELUS Spark is amazing - not just for kids. The adult-only nights they do are actually really fun and educational.

If you're into craft beer, Last Best Brewing and Cold Garden are must-visits. The Calgary brewery scene is honestly one of the best in Canada and it's still growing.

The sense of community in Lynnwood is something special.
I've had a different experience actually. my recommendation: spend a weekend in Springbank Hill before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

So excited about this - Heritage Park is one of Calgary's best attractions and it's right in our backyard. Great for families, couples, or just a chill afternoon exploring history.
