Chaparral is a great choice! We've been here for 12 years. The walkability is good, tons of local shops, and the community association is really active.

Just moved to Coral Springs and can confirm this. The neighborhood is fantastic, especially the access to CORE Shopping Centre. Highly recommend for anyone considering it. fr

Cheers!

For groceries, the best value in Calgary is honestly the ethnic supermarkets. T&T, Superstore International aisle, and the shops on International Avenue have way better prices on produce and spices.

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. for anyone looking for a great meal that won't break the bank, check out the lunch specials at Tubby Dog. Same amazing food as dinner but at a fraction of the cost.

My EV handles Calgary winters surprisingly well.
Take this with a grain of salt but my EV handles Calgary winters surprisingly well. The range drops about 30% in -20 but I charge at home overnight so it's not an issue for my daily commute. Zero regrets.

Good luck!

Solar panels on our roof in Arbour Lake have been producing great. Calgary's sunshine hours make it one of the best cities in Canada for solar. Paid off the investment in about 7 years.

I'd recommend talking to at least 3 different mortgage brokers. The rate difference between them can be significant and it adds up over 25 years.

What's your take?
