Default Ninderjit Singh gets life sentence for slaying of ex-girlfriend

The man who shot a young woman to death in a Vancouver alleyway in 1999 has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 16 years, a B.C. Supreme Court justice has ruled.
