Bell $50 / 10GB data plan on iPad nets >$500 bill for 7GB usage

I signed up last month in the Bell store (downtown Montreal) to the $50 / 10GB data plan for my iPad. The agent at the store supposedly, "sold these all the time to people who wanted better pricing on data plans". A few days after signing up, I received the notice on the iPad that i was at $250...
