iPhone the Phone with the Most Problems?

My friend keeps telling me that since he's worked at Walmart, that the iPhone is the phone that is always being brought back with problems, broken screens, case broken, phone's battery dying, or the phone not working at all out of box among other issues. Is this true or is he just talking crap...
