Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II LTE compatible?

If I purchase a unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, will it work with TELUS? Can I use prepaid and still connect to LTE? Will prepaid even work? Is it worth it? I'm using the prepaid temporarily, late on ill get a data plan and would enjoy LTE. Is this phone also NFC equipped?
