Visiting Canada with an AT&T GSM iPad

I'll be in Canada for 2-3 weeks this summer and need data access on the go. I have an iPad 3 (AT&T compatible, so the GSM model), which I understand is not SIM-locked to AT&T. Our route will be main routes in New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and then on the Trans-Labrador...
