Default Securities regulator deal announced by Jim Flaherty
Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is announcing a voluntary "co-operative capital markets regulatory system," an attempt at arranging a single regulator for stocks and bonds, with Ontario and British Columbia agreeing to join the plan.
