Verizon WiFi Disappeared Grayed Out on 4S??

I imagine that this post has been up many times before, but I need help. I have a 4S and for no apparent reason, the WiFi is now not working. Icon is grayed out. Have reset the network with no success. Next step would be to backup and restore phone. Before I go to that step, thought I would check...
