Note 3 with Telus but need Canada / US texting...

Hi there. I want to get a Note 3, 2 gb of data, and Canada and US texting. My daughter lives in the US. The plans don't include texting to the US. Virgin has US texting, but don't offer the Note 3. I want to stay away from Bell. Any other option? Thanks, Paul.
