Default Mike Duffy's defence could put Harper on hot seat
It seems at odds with basic logic: How did a payment seemingly deemed legal while in the hands of the giver — in this case, Prime Minister Stephen Harper's former chief of staff, Nigel Wright — turn into an alleged bribe the instant it found its way to the recipient, Mike Duffy?
