Default Prison inmates take federal government to court over pay cuts
Four inmates at Collins Bay Institution in Ontario are suing the federal government over its move last October to cut their pay rates by 30 per cent. The suit says the cuts are contrary to law and are affecting their ability to maintain contact with their families, purchase essential hygiene items and save for their release.
