Default 100 homes to be evacuated over smoke risk after Whitby, Ont., seniors home fire
Emergency officials in Whitby, Ont., are requesting that about 100 homes be evacuated because of heavy smoke coming from a blaze at a long-term-care facility that was contained but still active Monday afternoon.
