Fido Carrier unlocked my iphone, alternative to iTunes restore?

Hi guys, When I got my iphone 5s replaced, my carrier unlocked my replacement. Last time it happened, there was an alternative to doing the iTunes restore. It was something like: Connect to wifi, Turn off phone
