The module in question is the Broadcom BCM4356, which features 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1. The update over the One (M8) isn't astronomical, as the current flagship also boasts Wi-Fi 802.11 ac connectivity, but not the latest Bluetooth standard.
