Default Alberta downturn pushes debt-burdened to seek help
As oil prices plunged, Randy Rigel lost his job at a Grande Prairie, Alta., pipeline company. He was trying to buy a house when he discovered long-forgotten debt on his credit report. With no income and bills piling up, he decided he needed help.
