The Internet is giving Padma Patil the Neville Longbottom treatment.
And by that we mean people are getting very excited that Afshan Azad, the actress who played the Ravenclaw student in the "Harry Potter" films, has grown up from cute child to very beautiful adult. Funny how this tends to happen to child actors when they... become older. The hype erupted after BuzzFeed (via HuffPost India) drew attention to what the actress looks like today. Here's Azad with Ron at the Yule Ball in "Goblet of Fire." ![]() Here's Azad now: Datenight pic.twitter.com/6JuZv23zYR While she appreciates the complimentary attention, the actress would also like to remind everyone that it is quite standard to look different at age 16 than at 27. Seriously guys, all this hype after the Buzzfeed article is ridiculous! Hilarious but crazy! I appreciate it&all but come on I was 16 then!! Sounds about right. -- This feed and its contents are the property of The Huffington Post, and use is subject to our terms.
