A school district in Georgia has begun teaching Mandarin to its youngest pupils -- the classes are mandatory -- in an effort to have every student fully bilingual by the time they graduate from high school. With instructors from a program underwritten by the Chinese government, the ambitious new curriculum is not without its skeptics.
