Band 30 LTE (WCS) in testing?

I heard a rumor Telus was firing up band 30 LTE (WCS band). This is the 2300 MHz band. So I fired up my spectrum analyzer and sure enough I see a 5 MHz wide signal which could easily be an LTE carrier. This is in Surrey, BC. Has anyone else heard any reports of this, or seen anything official?...
