When you don't have time for a full-on deep clean, get your kitchen into shape (or trick your roommates into thinking that you've cleaned) by working on just a few key spots.
Taking care of these three items, for starters, will make kitchens look utterly delicious. 1. The crumby toaster oven Unplug the oven, and empty the crumb tray. Then use a small paintbrush to whisk crumbs from hard-to-reach crannies. Wipe down the outside with a rag, and you're good to go! 2. The icky coffeemaker Fill the reservoir halfway with white distilled vinegar and top it off with water. Flip it on, and let it brew several cups. Let the coffeemaker sit for 45 minutes, then brew one more cup with the vinegar mixture. Empty the vinegar mixture, add water, and brew until the vinegar odor is gone. Voilà! 3. The stinky cutting board Sprinkle salt on the board, rub it with a lemon h, and rinse for a yummy-smelling, citrus-fresh cutting board. Your kitchen is good as new! Watch above to see how it's done.
