The barometric pressure may have been high, but during Wednesday night's weather report on "Telediario Nocturno," one knee dropped awfully low.
Indeed, the only precipitation in Monterrey, Mexico, came from the eyes of meteorologist Marcela Mistral, after her boyfriend Poncho de Nigris interrupted her segment to propose to her. Rather than strut right onto the stage mid-broadcast, de Nigris opted to first show up on the massive screen showing the five-day forecast behind Mistral, appearing as a giant in the foreground. Then, as cheesy romantic music played, de Nigris asked Mistral to marry him -- and she said yes. Here's a HuffPost translation of the proposal: Granted, De Nigris isn't exactly a stranger to televised romance. In 2011, the Mexican TV star appeared on "Mitad y Mitad," a reality program that follows "handsome heartthrobs" in their pursuit of true love. Here's hoping the two have clear skies ahead.
