Behold the glory of the dog tongue!

This slow-motion video from Buzzfeed shows dog kisses in all their affectionate and somewhat icky detail.   

Considering some of the other places dogs are known to stick their tongues, the very idea of a canine kiss is enough to gross some people out. However, a recent study finds that exposure to dog germs might actually be good for us. 

Consider that your pup's license to lick.
