American living in Calgary for 3 months, really need help!

I'm going to Calgary for 3 months from Sept-Nov. I'm an American with an iPhone 6 plus currently on AT&T. What are my best options if I want unlimited text, call, and data (most important). I guess I'm gonna have to unlock my iPhone, and buy a sim in Calgary as well. What do you suggest I do? What...
