What Got Dan Harris To Visit The Doctor After His Anxiety Attack?

Anxiety affects us all in different ways, For ABC news Anchor Dan Harris, secretly living with anxiety finally took its toll the form of a severe panic attack - on live TV. With 5 million people watching, Dan lived to tell the tale, but it launched him in a decade-long pursuit of exercising his demons and finding inner peace. We were thrilled to have Dan come by and share his story, but even more thrilled to learn from him what we can do about our own issues with panic and anxiety.

The Final Attack

After Dan's terrible, televised panic attack, he endured another one a year later. After years of struggling with anxiety and self-medicating with drug use, this was due to be the last incident. "That's the one that finally got me to go to the doctor and kick my habits" Dan said.
