The image of a guy in a cape explaining how insurance really works is a little weird, but remember: he's just the messenger.

Cracked's "If Insurance Companies Were Honest" video features an unusually frank insurance spokesman dressed unconvincingly as a "superhero." No, this company couldn't possibly exist -- but the level of service the company provides is all too real.

"We don't protect you from anything," he says. "We just give you back a small portion of the money you were forced to give us."
