Instagram Champ Lionel Messi Shows Off Jersey From Stephen Curry

Now that soccer king Lionel Messi has notched an impressive social media goal, he's getting big-time props from another athlete at the top of his game.

Check out Messi proudly holding up the autographed jersey he received from NBA MVP Stephen Curry for reaching 30 million Instagram followers.

 






"As soon as you get 10M I'll send you mine!" Messi wrote.

With 5.9 million followers as of Friday, Curry has a ways to go.

Another MVP and NBA title could help his cause, though. His Golden State Warriors' thus far undefeated season probably isn't hurting either.
