Default 4 Festively Healthy Holiday Drinks

If your idea of spreading holiday cheer includes a drink in the hand, you are in good company!

Most of us like to partake in some merriment at Christmas parties and special gatherings.

If you're like me you're being mindful of your waistline. Just have a plan to celebrate sensibly.

Don't deprive yourself either...try a little taste of everything you love on the snack tray.

Also, go light on any alcohol. If I make a toast I'm usually holding a glass of kombucha.

Here are 4 of my favorite drink recipes that are perfect for the holidays!

1. Homemade Dairy Free Egg Nog

You can't even have Christmas without eggnog, can you? This Homemade Dairy Free Egg Nog is creamy, rich and divinely flavorful.

2. Cranberry Fat Flush

My Cranberry Fat Flush Drink is one that I always keep on hand at parties. It's tangy and wonderfully tart. So good for you too!

3. Soothing Warm Ginger Pear Smoothie

This Soothing Warm Ginger Pear Smoothie will delight your senses and yes, it's served warm! The flavor combinations are amazing and your guests will love it too!

4. Healthier Hot Chocolate

And no holiday gathering is complete without the Hot Chocolate! My Healthier Hot Chocolate is much better for you than the sugary dry mixes.

Drink up and say 3 cheers for a healthy, happy holiday season, friends! -- This feed and its contents are the property of The Huffington Post, and use is subject to our terms. It may be used for personal consumption, but may not be distributed on a website.
