The My Brother's Keeper Millennial Entrepreneurs Video series continues with the second episode. Mike Muse the MBK Millennial Entrepreneurs Champion, in partnership with the SBA, unveiled the My Brother's Keeper Millennial Entrepreneurs Video Series. Its all part of President Obama's My Brother's Keeper initiative led by Muse called Biz My Way. In the series, six entrepreneurs reveal the innermost truths about their paths to and through entrepreneurship in an effort to inspire millennials.
As a member of the the MBK team I cannot say how impressed I am with our second guest for this series. It is not often that we see young men of color doing amazing work in the areas of tech and venture capitalism. This week, Jason Mowatt takes center stage and shatters any preconceived notions about being good at more than one thing. Mowatt was an initial investor of the wildly successful Trillectro music festival. His backing, coupled with his passion for technology and strategic use of social media helped position Trillectro as Washington, DC's first music festival to bridge the gap between hip-hop, electronic, R&B and indie rock acts. Today it is recognized and lauded for showcasing up-and-coming musicians such as A$AP Ferg and ScHoolboy Q on the eve of their big break. Currently in the midst of developing his next big hit, Jason Mowatt is the consummate entrepreneur who is carving out a niche for himself.
