Default Liberals And Conservatives Agree: Ann Coulter Is The Worst

Conservative pundit and xenophobic scaremonger Ann Coulter may have just given conservatives and liberals something to agree on.

After South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley delivered the official GOP response to President Barack Obama's State of the Union speech on Tuesday, Coulter went on the attack, lambasting Haley for taking issue with fervid anti-immigrant rhetoric in the GOP presidential race. Haley stopped just short of calling out Donald Trump by name in her Tuesday remarks.

"Today, we live in a time of threats like few others in recent memory," Haley said Tuesday. "During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation. No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country."

Responding via Twitter on Tuesday, Coulter, a Trump supporter, called on the real estate mogul to deport Haley, the daughter of Indian immigrants.

Nikki Haley says "welcoming properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of religion." Translation: let in all the Muslims.

Trump should deport Nikki Haley.

Coulter's broadside against Haley drew condemnation from others in the conservative world.

Kimberly Ross, a contributor at RedState, called on her fellow conservatives to rally behind Haley.

"[Coulter] is completely incapable of making a positive impact on the things which matter most," Ross wrote Wednesday. "She isn’t a role model for conservatism or conservative women. For that, look to Governor Nikki Haley."

Coulter faced further backlash from various conservatives on Twitter:

@AnnCoulter I love you Annie but STFU. Saying stupid shit to sell books and get in green rooms is pro forma but on this is vile.

@AnnCoulter Wait, let me guess...she dared take a crack at your precious Fake Hair Raging Clown?

@AnnCoulter There was a time when I used to enjoy reading what you had to say. That was just a horrible thing to say and for no reason.

@anncoulter You’ve really lost your mind, along with whatever shred of decency you used to possess.

Looks like @AnnCoulter is begging for attention again. Gotta keep selling books. pic.twitter.com/bvGK5oryhk

@AnnCoulter Coulter, you lost conservative credentials long ago, when you started grinding axes instead of caring for conservative values.
