Police Officer Accused Of Watching Porn, Masturbating On Duty

A former police officer in Camden, South Carolina is facing misconduct charges after allegedly watching porn and masturbating while on duty.

Marshall Lee Hardin, II, was arrested Friday in connection with an incident last December at a local park.

According to the arrest warrant, Hardin, 41, was seen watching porn on his personal cellphone "while rubbing his penis through his uniform pants."

The warrant continues:

"After a period of time, Hardin exited his marked patrol car and pulled his penis out of his uniform pants to 'stroke his penis two times.' 

Hardin put his penis back in his pants and went into the restroom in the public park to finish ejaculating."

A spokesman for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division told HuffPost he was unaware of how Hardin's alleged actions came to the attention of the Camden Police Dept.

The warrant states that Hardin confirmed the sordid details with a sworn written statement.

Hardin is no longer employed by the Camden Police Dept., which has not returned phone calls about the incident.

Hardin was taken to the Kershaw County Detention Center and booked on charges of misconduct in office, malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance, according to news station WCBD.

Jail records show he is no longer in custody.

If convicted, Hardin faces up to 10 years in prison.
