Monica Lewinsky cut an elegant figure at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday night.
The Vanity Fair contributor and social activist chose a beautiful black gown for her evening attire and paired it with gold heels, teardrop earrings and a black clutch. Lewinsky wore her hair up with simple makeup and a bright red lip. The look was far less dramatic than Lewinsky's 2015 Vanity Fair party outfit, when she wore a beautiful, sleeved red dress.
Lewinsky is now a powerful figure in the anti-bullying realm, using her own personal experience to empower others. The 42-year-old recently spoke at a TED talk last year about what it was like to be shamed on a worldwide scale and how she fought back to reclaim her narrative. "I was Patient Zero of losing a personal reputation on a global scale almost instantaneously," Lewinsky said. "I was branded as a tramp, tart, slut, whore, bimbo and, of course, 'that woman.' I was known by many, but actually known by few. I get it. It was easy to forget 'that woman' was dimensional and had a soul." -- This feed and its contents are the property of The Huffington Post, and use is subject to our terms.
