Sylvester Stallone's brother best come correct, because though Mark Rylance might look like an adorable tea-sipping uncle who imparts life lessons to you by the fireplace, if you've seen "Bridge of Spies," you know that he is NOT THE ONE.
After Stallone, who already nabbed a Golden Globe for his performance in "Creed," lost to Rylance for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor on Sunday, his brother, Frank, took to Twitter to express his outrage. The Academy should be ashamed of themselves. It's as clear as the nose on your face that Sly won. Mark who? It's total Hollywood bullshit Um, this "Rambo" adjacent needs to cool it. Mark who? He's only one of the most celebrated English theater actors of our time, as well as the former artistic director of Shakespeare's Globe theater. Et tu, Frank? Our reaction to this mess goes a little something like: Yes, that's Rylance in drag as Countess Olivia in "Twelfth Night." Hit us up when "Expendables 17" comes out, bb. -- This feed and its contents are the property of The Huffington Post, and use is subject to our terms.
