Feminism is in the global spotlight, with a large number of celebrities speaking publicly about the importance of gender equality. Beyoncé, Emma Watson, Sophia Bush and Justin Trudeau are all leading the charge, but it's clear from this video that we we still have a long way to go.

The Huffington Post asked New Yorkers questions about women's rights to prove that the battle for gender equality is not as far gone as we might expect. Check out the video above.
