Default Jared Leto Sent Anal Beads And Used Condoms To 'Suicide Squad' Cast

What do you get the cast that has everything?

And by everything, we mean a dead pig, bullets, a live rat and the many other "gifts" Jared Leto sent his "Suicide Squad" co-stars to make his on-screen Joker as menacing as can be.

According to the "Dallas Buyers Club" star, anal beads and used condoms will do the trick. Note to self: never celebrate the holidays with Jared Leto.

"I did a lot of things to create a dynamic to create an element of surprise, a spontaneity and to really break down any kind of walls that may be there," he told E! News on the red carpet at CinemaCon. "The Joker is somebody who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries."

But his "Suicide Squad" co-stars, like Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, didn't seem to mind the surprise treats. Cut to Jada Pinkett Smith opening up the family mailbox:

"He went full Joker," Will Smith told E! "He really set the tone. He wasn't playing with it. He was dead serious as an actor. He was going in and he was 100 percent going into this character."

The dead pig proved to be especially effective because it created a useful antagonism toward Leto/Joker during the film's production.

"That was a good gift because it had the effect of unifying us as a group because then it became us against him," Akinnuoye-Agbaje said. "We sent the messenger back with the dead pig and our own personalized message. It got the ball rolling."

But considering how Leto uncomfortably described the experience of embodying Gotham's big bad, should we even be surprised he took it this far?

“I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn’t imagine doing it another way," he told Empire Magazine. "It was fun, playing those psychological games. But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole.”

TMI, Jared, TMI.
