Default Toews says long-gun registry data deleted, gun fans cheer

A spokeswoman for Public Safety Minister Vic Toews confirmed the destruction of millions of records from the long-gun registry after gun enthusiasts started spreading the word. Only Quebec's data remains, following a September court injunction.
