Post Day 2: On the ground in Rio with CBC Calgary's Doug Dirks
I don't know who was more nervous on the opening day of rowing at Lagoa Stadium, me, or the athletes. I've done play-by-play of several sports over the years, including beach volleyball and indoor volleyball at the Beijing Olympics. But, this is the first time I've called rowing events.
