Moving from Bell to Telus...possible ways of porting without closing account?

I've never really got a direct answer from anyone I've asked about this...so I figured I'd make a thread. I signed a contract with Bell on June 8th, 2012. I've been experiencing horrible service in my basement (keeps going in and out of service), and up at my cottage I get almost no bars, while...
