Blackberry Fab 10 $50 and Unlocked Koodo. Can't get data services working

Cousin got a Fab 10 BB and is trying to get it to work with her Unlocked Koodo 9300. She gets the typical error of "You are currently not on a service plan that does not support this application", when attempting to use Twitter and Facebook. At first I thought it was the APN, her phone was...
