Default Edmonton 100Mbit VDSL Profiles "Tuned"??

Has anyone seen this today? Read about it happening in Calgary some time early January.
This is the 100Mbit VDSL (2 Phone lines duplex) that Telus no longer offers to new customers.

This is sad because many areas like mine (even in big city like Edmonton) will not see fiber for several years still according to Telus so this VDSL was the only fast alternative to Shaw, IMO they should have left it for areas that won't see fiber for 5 or more years still.

Speeds as of yesterday were very consistent 106/28, noticeable increase in hard cap today.
Very nice boost for free, even though paying for 100/20 and getting the above to begin with!
