150/150 with T1200H?

Hey there, my landlord recently upgraded from the 50mb plan to the 150 and we are still only getting an absolute max wired and wireless of around 55-60. Well short of what we are paying for. I am wondering if its the router that isn't capable of pushing out those numbers? I have an asus nighthawk router that I know is capable as I got my full 150 through it when I was with shaw. The only issue is I am unable to use it with telus because we also have optik tv. Is there a better telus router or a work around to use my nighthawk?
