Transferred Contract, now IMEI is blacklisted

I recently transferred responsibility of my contract to someone else and then moved to Koodo, kept the phone as agreed with other party. Next day, my phone would only make emergency calls only. Find out later that my IMEI has been blacklisted and am now waiting for some "back end" department to...
