Difficulties reading webmail

For the last 3 weeks my partner and I have struggled trying to open our e-mail. When we can open one using read original, we sometimes have some luck but most times it appears as in illegible language. We can never open e-mail with photos.
I used to on this joint account just click on the e-mail and it would just come up. My other webmail account works just fine!
Please help?
