The telus rep I spoke to when setting up my account ran my credit check while I was on the phone and told me I qualified, however now i am told that while I qualified for service I did not qualify for the gift. I was not told this at the time and the 50$ gift card was factored into my decision. This is false advertising/fraud and I am very unimpressed. Every rep I have spoken to says they will pass it on to someone else because they can't see the exact reason but then when I call back the next rep tells me their decision to say no was final, am I constantly just being lied to? I tried to escalate the issue but was told they also didn't have access to why I couldn't receive the gift and for me to contact them over the phone again. I am INCREDIBLY fed up and would like to either cancel my service and go with a company that doesn't start off by lying to me, or receive this gift card.
