Default Chipped tooth

I met with an accident last week. My front tooth has chipped off. Now the swelling and pain are gone. I’m getting concerned about the chipped tooth. I searched for the possible alternatives and found out about composite bonding. Although there is only a small piece of the teeth enamel has chipped off, this tooth is visible when I smile. I really need to get it fixed. My mom told me that bonding will be much costly when compared to dental fillings. She suggested getting a filling. I’m confused now. Which procedure gives lasting results? I have taken an appointment at a family dentistry in Oakville. Kindly share your share your views about both procedures. Thank you in advance
