Default Indigenous petroglyphs found for 1st time in Newfoundland
Archaeologists and the chief of Newfoundland and Labrador's Miawpukek First Nation are seeking provincial protection for petroglyphs that appear to be the first Indigenous carvings discovered on the island of Newfoundland.
