Very slow wifi speed - run speed test besides the wifi hub

Hi,

Telus installed the wifi hub at my place yesterday (signed up two-year contract for Fibre 940 speed). I run the app "Speedtest" on my iPhone besides the wifi hub (20 ~ 30 cm away), I can only get up to 250 mbps. I stand besides the hub, no walls, no obstacles between the phone and the hub, I also tried different phone and laptops, same result - max wifi speed is 250 mbps. When connecting to laptop wired, it can get 900 mbps. I wonder if there is any setting need to be set in order to get at least over 500 mbps besides the hub?
