Default Sask. RCMP pilot embeds psychiatric nurses in 911 centre to handle mental health calls
The RCMP in Saskatchewan is putting psychiatric nurses in its emergency call centre as part of a one-year pilot project to better help people in mental distress, as well as the frontline officers who don't have the mental health expertise to deal with them.
