Wifi boosters, modem and smart switch

Hello
I have a Telus t3200 modem with two frequency 2.4 and 5. But there are setup in garage so to get connectivity till the top floor
I have 2 boosters installed which run on their own separate network and all my devices are connected to that. So I want to install a meross smart switch which I think only runs on 2.4 ghz. So my question is that if my phone is connected on the booster wifi and I send a command through apple home kit to the smart switch. Will it execute that command ? And will i have any problem setting up the switch.
