I need an iPhone to track Airtags- will iPhone 8 be Ok for 2 years ?

I am using my iPad to track my Airtags I would like to get a used iPhone 8 , or something that can get new OS for a couple years probably use Tmobile, where is a good place to get a Used one in decent , not mint condition ? THANKS
